GGPoker Sends 1,000+ Players to 2025 WSOP Main Event

The 2025 World Series of Poker began May 27 in Las Vegas. The $10,000 Main Event starts July 2, and GGPoker is sending more than 1,000 players through its Road to Vegas campaign. Since launching on March 9, 643 players have already secured full $12,000 packages.
GGPoker, the official WSOP online partner and now its owner after a $500 million acquisition in August 2024, plans to exceed last year’s total of 1,100 qualifiers. This includes players from GGPoker’s global platform, Ontario, and ClubGG. Projections suggest more than 1,200 will qualify in 2025.
What Each $12,000 Package Includes
Winners receive entry to the $10,000 Main Event, $1,000 for accommodation, $1,000 in spending money, GGPoker merchandise, and a Caesars hotel discount code.
Notable players who’ve already qualified include Felipe Ramos, Jessica Teusl, Artur Martirosian, Ole Schemion, Jans Arends, and Adrian Mateos.
How the Qualification Works
Entry starts as low as $1. These low-stakes satellites feed into $150 Step to $1,200 Road to Vegas qualifiers. Players begin with 5,000 chips and must build to 45,000. The prize pool determines how many $1,200 tickets are awarded.
In the $1,200 MEGA Road to Vegas satellites, players start with 10,000 chips. Reaching the 110,000 chip target secures the full $12,000 package. GGPoker guarantees a set number of packages, adding another for every $12,000 in the pool.
Extra $1 Million for Qualifiers
GGPoker offers an added $1 million bonus for any of its qualifiers who win the Main Event. To be eligible, the player must qualify through Road to Vegas, wear the GGPoker patch throughout the event, and agree to the use of their likeness in promotion.
In 2024, Jonathan Tamayo won the Main Event and $10 million, defeating a field of 10,112. A GGPoker qualifier who wins this year could earn $11 million.
Horseshoe and Paris Host the 2025 WSOP
The 2025 WSOP is held at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas from May 27 to July 16. Horseshoe has 68,000 square feet of gaming space and over 2,800 rooms. Paris Las Vegas features nearly 100,000 square feet of space and 2,900 rooms.
This marks the fourth consecutive year the series is hosted on the Las Vegas Strip.
Record 100 Bracelet Events Scheduled
The 2025 schedule includes 100 bracelet events. The series opened with Event #1: $1,000 Mystery Millions (May 27–June 3). Other events this week include the $500 Industry Employees No-Limit Hold’em and the $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold’em.
The Main Event begins July 2 with four starting flights and runs through July 16.
WSOP+ Streamlines Registration
WSOP+ is the new official mobile app for player registration and management. Players verify their ID once in person at the Champagne Ballroom at Paris Las Vegas. After that, they can register, receive seat alerts, and view chip counts through the app.
Payment methods include ACH, PayPal, credit cards (3% fee), Luxon Pay, and in-person Paris Tournament Accounts. Wire transfers (minimum $100,000) require prior approval.
GGPoker Welcome Bonuses
New players in the UK get a 100% matched deposit bonus up to $600, released in $1 increments per $5 in rake or tournament fees. This applies to additional deposits made within 60 days.
Players outside the UK can choose between the same $600 bonus or up to $100 in free play. The free play package includes $52.50 in All-In or Fold Sit & Go tickets and up to $37.50 in cash game credits unlocked by completing daily hand challenges over six days.
Time Left to Qualify
Direct entry satellites continue every Sunday at 18:30 UTC. Thousands more packages will be awarded over the coming weeks.
The WSOP Main Event remains the game’s most prestigious title. With $12,000 packages and a possible $1 million bonus, GGPoker’s Road to Vegas is the most direct path to poker’s biggest stage. The chance is still open—fire a bullet, and you could become the next Moneymaker.
