I especially like the one about testing yourself. I think it's good that you made that point after writing about the need, sometimes, to drop down in stakes after a losing streak. It expresses the sometimes contradictory nature of poker. When you're losing, drop down, but don't forget about looking up to the higher stakes games every now and then to test your mettle and reach new heights. I completely agree!
