Your last paragraph is spot on. I am finding my weak spot, usually just before busting out, is really a sign of reckless aggression, like going all-in just to try and bluff someone out of a pot. Great article, it will give me something 'else' to think about when I play.

Good article. For me, when it comes to crossing the line is usually the one between "genius and insanity", where I usually overestimate my leverage in a certain situation (usually preflop). Sometimes I have to temper my aggressiveness.

Great stuff! Just last night I made the cash on PokerStars (I'd been raising pre-flop almost twice as much as anyone else), and I interpreted a late position reraise to be an agressive attempt to shut me down, nothing more-- so I pushed them all in on the flop, thinking A. they probably missed it, and B. surely they would drop the hand when their reraise had failed. Oh, whoops, forgot to have a hand myself when they turned over pocket 3's for a set and knocked me from chip leader to soon busting out in 5th place. It was one of those tournaments that had been "mine, all mine!" from the very beginning, too. Obi-Wan is right-- "patience, young Padewan".
Thanks for a timely and thought provoking article.
