    Default Getting tested...

So, currently, while weather conditions are such I can't get sufficient physical exercise in, I ramp up the volume on the poker side of things. Tonight I played 13 tourneys ($0.45- + $0.05- 45-man sit&go's) and just got owned by variance. 7 out of 13 busto hands I got runner-runnered (i.e. 90%+ equity on the flop and yet losing the hand) and I suffered the indignity of getting busted down to next to nothing twice by 66 outflopping AA and making a set.

Good job this culminated towards the end of my session otherwise (as in if I'd been able to enter into more games), you might have seen some "monkey tilt"-moves on my part. Which are quite apart from my "brain fades" when I'm actually trying my best.

My mission now is to clear my mind and start "fresh" again later tonight... let's hope these idiots keep playing.

To further this I've just found out the halfwit at city hall gave me insufficient information/documents in order to apply for a state subsidy for taking care of my mum at home, so after a delay of 4 months, I'm back to square one.

So a little 'life tilt' to go along with the poker tilt. It may be good to take chill for a bit, go to McDonalds because you deserve a break today. :)

You know the old addage "someday you will run worse than you ever imagined possible, and then worse still"? -today I ran a staggering 30.2k chips under EV. That's the equivalent of buying into 20 tournies and just walking away.

I didn't lose it, but, all the same, scratching and fighting, using good judgement in knowing who's out of line and who isn't, getting the money in good when it matters and then having the rug pulled from under your feet every time is very disheartening. I hope I don't have too many days like today.
