    Default Yay, that was fun!

Had the day off so I decided to use some of the money I have stuck on America's Card Room and played in one of their MOSS events, a 5.50 turbo deep stack, Event #37. Early the play was actually deep but after the first 60-90 minutes the blinds escalated very quickly, sometimes with 15% antes! Eventually they caught up to me and I busted out 16th for a profit of $20. Not too shabby.

I really didn't have any hands to discuss, in fact outside of getting AA twice, AK once and a couple of pocket pairs I really didn't see much to fight with. When I had to fight I won most of the time, even hitting a 4-outter a couple of times. Had one nice resteal and a couple decent chances to play postflop but otherwise it was a good bit of push (or even call!) and pray.

Some turbo, the damn thing took 3 hours to knock me out. There was only 433 runners but with 90 minute late reg and the deeper starting stack it took a while to get rid of some of the rubbish. All in all I had a good time, all that matters. Just need another $30 or so and I might be able to cash out!

Some turbo indeed... I never have more than 3 hours to spend on poker, so I'd hate to use that up playing just one tourney. Good job cashing, though. I'm assuming some well thought out decisions contributed to that.

Assuming $5,50- is less than 5% of your roll on that site, grinding out another $30,- shouldn't take that long and, even if that entry fee was "/bankrollmanagement", it would still only take a couple months of semi-daily commitment 4 to 6-tabling the small stuff. Get to it, get some closure in anticipation of a return of legalized poker in your country.

Wait, is this RyckyRych coming out of retirement for "one last game"? It's like the plot of a Rocky movie, but with less punching.

No BRM here. I don't plan on playing much so I just played. Though to be technical you could say my BR is over $2600 since that is what I'm stuck on FTP/UB combined. I just wanted to play an event in this series because it was there. Unfortuneately they paid about 20% of the field so the payout was quite flat... good thing there was an overlay or it would have really sucked.

I might try another one this weekend, hopefully one with a better structure and smaller stack.

No, its not. In fact, I don't really count it. At this point I'm more apt to try and play BJ in the site's casino in an effort to get up to the $100 level so I can cashout. I figure I can degen away whatever I have stuck there considering what I made in my real poker career (and considering what I have stuck elsewhere). I pretty much consider it lost cash anyway.
