Don't get me wrong, it is neither Imperial nor a Palace. I'm sure some will say it is grotty and unplesant - and I understand that viewpoint. It depends on your needs. It's not the Bellagio. But I'm not fussy. I only need a place to sleep / shit / shower. Then I'm outta there!

I don't have very much experience playing limit hold'em at live venues so I would take my time working up to 6/12. Please remember that limit is nonexistent here in the UK. I don't think I'd play much 2/4 next time, because you're right, it's impossible to beat the rake. It's a drinking game and just for fun. I preferred the 4/8 games at the Orleans but other than the Venetian and the Bellagio, I didn't see many higher limit games.

They may have officially changed the name to the 'Quad' (which sucks, IMO) but apart from the new front desk and restrooms on the casino floor, everything inside was still the same (as of two weeks ago). Oh, and the entrance area is currently a construction site with temporary walkways. Other than that, it's still the same as when you last stayed there. It will be very interesting to see what it looks like in 2014.

You mean still a construction site... if this is where I think it is the place was a mess in July.
