Yeah, I just heard the news.

I have money on the site. I should have taken it off when I had the chance.

Wow. Who knew PokerStars was the only legit place in town.

We Americans had some (mildly, potentially) good news yesterday.

Full Tilt really turned out to be a "House of Cards" ...

No way! I just had my best ever session on FTP last night and my largest part of my bankroll is there...

Guess I am going to have to grind it back up again...

    Ick...it gets worse:

The above named companies must, until the Suspension Notices are cancelled or the Commissioners of AGCC have reached a determination at the conclusion of the hearing convened in accordance with Regulation 46 of the Alderney eGambling Regulations, 2009 cease to exercise their eGambling licenses, which means that these licensees must from today cease to:-

    *Register new customers
    *Accept deposits from existing customers
*Allow existing customers to withdraw funds that are held in their accounts
*Permit customers to participate in any form of poker game play or gambling transaction.

It'll be interesting to see if the Barton bill can get through the senate. Let's hope so. But we've had other bills in the past that get hyped up and then... poof. So I'm not going to get too excited but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

As for the Full Tilt situation... it's a complete mess. I don't see how they can come back from this. It's just incredible how incompetent they've been. And it says on their website; "Maintenance in Progress: We apologise but the system is currently down. Please check back later" - so even now, after going offline, they still can't tell the truth.

What happens next? I have no idea. Maybe they'll go rogue (officially) by going unlicensed. But without a license payment processors will back out. Moneybookers have already backed out and no credit card company / bank will work with an unlicensed gaming company.

Even if they do get up and running again (which is a big if), there will be a ton of people rushing to withdraw their funds just as soon as the doors open. All in all... Full Tilt are doomed.

I hope they sell their software though. It's the best software IMO. That's one thing they got right.

    And the plot thickens...

Full Tilt Poker traffic now routed through Kahnawake Mohawk Territory

Maybe Full Tilt will make it back to business. If they do I will be requesting an immediate withdraw. Not that I have high hopes that I would get paid, especially since everyone else will be thinking the same thing

    Another twist....

Rumour has it that Party.bwin might be the buyers.
