What made you throw 'em away? Especially in a $1 donkament? Was it that you thought his 5bet was nothing else?

In a $1 game, a 5-bet is almost always AA, especially when it comes after a small 3-bet.

It`s actually a "home game" so I know the player really well. He`s not 5 betting me with AK. I have to put him on AA with an outside chance of KK/QQ but I think he flats with QQ there a lot of the time because he knows I`m not 4 betting light.

Fwiw I think you made a good laydown. That min re-raise on the turn looks very strong a set or maybe 2 pair seems highly likely.

    Sarcasm? lol

I don`t count it as amazing but it was a good read. If I`d laid it down to the 3-bet that would have been amazing

Tbh when he 3-bet I was pretty sure he had AA which is why the 4-bet was pretty small. Just a case of knowing your opponent pretty well. There are a couple of people here that I`d make the same fold to (no I`m not going to name names ).
