    I understand that you should have just shoved, but how come you only raised a little more than 2x here?

    With the high blinds and antes you can usually raise less and get the same result. This helps save chips over time when you feel you need to fold certain hands. Sometimes I start with 2.5x at 120/240/25 or the like and as the blinds get higher (and the stacks shorter relative to those antes) I start dropping it down, other times I may stay at 2.5x.
