Default $50k to Spend on Poker

Hypothetical situation; someone gives you a $50k poker bankroll. You cannot cash it out, only your winnings. How would you spend it?

When you say "winnings" do you mean any amount over the $50K?

That's a tricky one, because if you played at a higher level than matched your skill you might just lose and never get above $50k.

Saying that the best tactic would probably be just to gamble and play $25/$50 nl or similar.

    Multi-table 41666 $1 9man sngs at the same time

In a more realistic world. I would treat myself to couple tourneys that I normally do not play. Then find some nice cash games to start grinding up the rest.

I think there'd be a few timeout issues with that plan.

Personally, I'd share the 'roll with you guys, sit back and watch the money come in. Of course I'd have to ask Matt to not play past his bed time .

Of course, I'm joking. I would probably go on a road trip and play a bunch of high buy-in tournaments. This is under the assumption that the backer doesn't want his money back.

I'd try my luck at some WSOP satellite events and if I didn't win a seat then I would buy in at 10 grand. The rest I would save for the next couple of years WSOP Main events.

Someone gives me a $50000 poker bankroll and I can keep all the winnings? I'd turn pro and play even more than I'm trying to do now.

With a roll that size there wouldn't be any tournament under a $250 BI that wouldn't potentially be in my view, which would also increase my earning potential. In fact, this number would be the BR I'd choose as a "pro" bankroll.

In other words I wouldn't change what I'm doing, just do more of it and in some bigger games.

I'd spend a month at the WSOP - if I lose it all, who cares ;-)

For the bores who say they'd do the same thing (yawn! ) - what if you only had 30 days to spend this money? Then what?
