I'm looking forward to the coverage - though hope they show more hands than last years, which was pretty bad.

Too bad Ivey didn't get the rub of the green. Who you rooting for?

I was hoping that Ivey would at least get to heads up but he still did himself proud.

I guess I'm rooting for Cada for no other reason than if he wins it will grind Hellmuth's gears as his record for youngest WSOP Champion will fall

Eastgate broke his record last year!

To be honest, I'm not really bothered who wins. But if I had to pick then I'll root for Moon.

Yes, I realized that after I made that post. I'm still with Cada which would put Phil in third place for that dubious record.

I think it grinds Phil's gears when anyone other than himself wins the main event.

    Yes, very true.

He should be used to it now though.

Phil is a great player, thats common knowledge. However I Was listening to the FT on Bluff and it just seemed that Ivey values his chips a little too much when he is short. Once he tried to call and raise and play a pot OOP, instead he was forced to fold to a c-bet. I don't know what he was trying to do there but flatting a raise from the BB and then simply folding on the flop with only 11BB seems horrible.

With the flat pay structure between 6th-9th you would have thought the shorter stacked players would be more aggressive in order to get some chips and contend for the top-end prizes. I would have thought if anyone would do this it would have been Ivey.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what Ivey had, if it gets shown.

A lot of the pre-talk was about the pressure was off Ivey, because he didn't need the money, etc. But actually I think there was more pressure on him than anyone else. Most of the poker community were rooting for him and expecting him to take it down.
