I thought we would just have a set number of players, then team them up, they arrange games between themselves and best of 3. Winner then progresses. So if there's 4 of us, we're at semi-finals already. If 8 then quarter-finals, etc. I think because people have different schedules, playing at weekends would be fine. It might take a few weeks to complete, waiting for other games to finish and so forth. But eventually a champion will be crowned...."Pokerology Heads Up Champion 2009".

Yes, I think this would be cool. The thing is though, the hand histories would need to be combined. So if people agree to save their hand histories for the heads up games, then send them to me, and I'll merge them together. It should work.

I was thinking...put names on paper and draw from a hat

But if you know how to do it this way, then go for it!

I'm happy with any reasonable stakes, turbo or non turbo.

Like I said before, I'm not a HU-SNG player but for a very, very low stake game I'd be willing to give it a go. I think I could learn a lot from it.
