Nice read... he sure did what you thought he would.

    4. fold.
So if the limper before me had raised you would shove?

Well a little checking reveals we can shove JJ+ AQs+ here. AQo is a little light but not far off.

Did you happen to see what the calling hands behind us would be like? If they are all like QQ+/AKs I think we can shove a little wider (like AQo) because too many guys will call with JJ-/AQ- themselves... hands we flip against or beat.

Hell that KTd dude might spite call us.

No, I'd fold. He might have shit for all we know but I do respect early position raises. I'd need QQ+ to shove over an UTG raise here.

By QQ+ you mean QQ, KK, AK, & AA?

Nah, just the pairs. QQ+ = AA, KK, QQ

I would say QQ+/AK if I meant AKs and AKo as well.

Good to know. I have seen several hand ranking charts. Some of them seem to differ a little from each other.

I'm not going by a "hand ranking" per se. Its just the way I'll type the ranges of hands.

If you were to shove AKo in that spot I'm pretty sure I couldn't really argue against it. In fact, shoving AK is probably the best way to play it since AK plays best when seeing all 5 cards of the flop (or none at all!).

Well, as usual, it's my cash game mentality here... I am so tired of being in this spot at the casino, and getting beat. I have to constantly adjust myself down there because of the actual (although admittedly short term) results I get... and then I have to constantly re-adjust myself to internet tournaments.
