In the low entry fee tournament with zillions of players, the only rational strategy is to pile up chips quick - otherwise you will be grinding for far too long and facing long odds against cashing.

If you genuinely want to play a solid game that can win money - play in larger fee tournaments against better fields. That way you can narrow the range of possible holdings of opponents. In the donkfests - they can and do have anything!

    Wrong.

Give me the donks every time. I like the fact that they suck. I don't care what the BI is, I'm going to simply try to range my opponents the best I can thru what I've seen them do.

Trust me, I have a better ROI at the lower limit SNGs than I do at the $22s. I was probably one of the best at the $22 level on UB when I was playing them but I would just LOVE to see the guys that I use to see in the $5.50s and $11s come on up and visit. I like money.

Same for the MTTs. I still see some bad play in the higher level ones (for me, meaning $22-$55 MTTs) but the play is generally tougher. You don't get called down as light, they won't limp in as much, and they will use leverage as well.

A couple forum guys watched me finish off that win in the $44 Rush Turbo MTT last week. Ask them how the play was at that FT compared to what you might see in a $2 MTT. I don't recall seeing many shitty hands up against me. I had to hold when ahead and/or win a couple flips. The only really bad play I saw is when the chip leader folded sick odds on the last hand three-handed, after which I was able to chop HU for the win.

Play to what your bankroll supports. As you win and make that BR go up, it'll tell you what games you are qualified to play. Take advantage of the bad players at ALL levels, but build your roll off of all the casual players that simply reload when they bust out their latest $50 deposit.
I'm not questioning your honor, I'm denying its existence.
