Default Just Terrible . . .

I`ve seen people screw up playing aces before but this just has to go down as one of the worst ever. From the $500 GTD 1 rebuy game @ PDC.

I guess this was a kind of stop and go move. Happy days for you!

Bad play for sure on his part, thank god you faded a Q on the river

Why do all of the worst plays posted here lately seem to take place in big money games?

I thought all the donks were in the micro games.

This is what we call a "fancy poker move". Slowrolling Aces (or at least, that's from what I can gather). Jeez.

Poker software should come with a big warning sign that pops up whenever you're trying to pull a "fancy poker move" that's like the "kids, don't try this at home" stunt show warnings.

You can come hang out with me in micro limits DM! You'd love it, they pull crap like this all the time!

Please, please, PLEASE don't EVER wish for something like this! We want our opponents doing stupid things as often as possible.

Thank you.

lol yeah the K on the turn was a bit worrying. Hardly high stakes though, just a $5+50 with 1 rebuy.

Well Full Tilt could sell it at their store with other "novelty items" like a custom avatar - and price it ridiculously high. If you're making that much, you want to be aware of "fancy poker syndrome".

My only guess was he panicked because his pre-flop plan backfired and decided to toss a big overbet out there to just scare everyone else out. Yeah, this is how I don't play pocket rockets...

Again, please... no. Just say no. I understand that you might want this for your own good but... no.

Why I'm so vigorously arguing about something that would NEVER be available I don't know. Fun times.

I had something like this happen to me before. Except I was the aces. I was in a super agressive home game. Got aces UTG and figured sweet I'll just call and then reraise when one of the agros bets. Well sure enough everyone just called. Talk about major back fire. I am sure he was looking to re-raise and then as Silentbob pointed out he panicked and over bet the pot in order to scare away all the possible draws not thinking there was a made hand already.
