    Default is there a big diference between stacking and tiling?

    this is after three experiments, 1000 hands each of stacking and tiling... iv lost all threee times stacking and won all the times tiling... fl btw... WHY?

    How many tables?

    In any case, I think you might be trying to find a pattern that isn't there, unless you are just able to keep track of things better with tiling since you can actually see all the tables at one time.

    Personally I prefer tiling, but if you are playing more than 10-12 tables I'd stack them, especially something like SNGs.

    Hate stacking. Love tiling.

    Great excuse to buy a 32" monitor, for one thing.

    I'm thinking its this ^^. When you tile you will have an additional point of reference for your opponents and so it makes it easier for you to store and retrieve information on them.

    ...but...

    I would also say that in 1000 hands variance will play a huge factor in any experiment of this sort so I would take your results with a grain of salt.

    As has already been mentioned, 1,000 hands is too small a sample size to draw any conclusions. Although it's probably enough to figure out your preference - so stick with your favourite.
