Wow, 114 views. I wonder if 114 people actually listened to Take Five. Maybe I should provide a link to Blue Rondo a la Turk which was another huge Brubeck hit.![]()

I had a listen. I'm sure he was a master.... but jazz isn't really my bag.
BTW, that "has anyone ever told you that you look like Dave Brubeck" story I was telling you about.... well, having now seen what he looked like, I can tell you that he looked nothing like him.![]()
I think I confused you (or you forgot the story) about the guy at the poker table who supposedly looked like Dave Brubeck. Having now seen what the real Dave Brubeck looked like, I now know that the guy at the poker table looked nothing like the real Dave Brubeck. It's unlikely he could play like him either.
I might have had a senior moment!![]()

I listened. I already knew the song anyway, but just to honor the man, I listened.
FWIW, I personally have great misgivings when someone says they don't like jazz. I wonder if they are secretly communists.
Which Tim might be, so, hey, not that there's anything wrong with that.
"Social" ist the big clue there.
