I was chatting to a mate of mine who`s Serbian and he asked me what a group of sharks were called. I wasn`t 100% sure so I looked it up and found out it`s "a shiver of sharks" (although school and shoal were also acceptable).
After that I found a site with loads of group nouns on it (this does pose the question as to what a group of group nouns is called ). I knew a few like "a murder of crows" and "a parliament of ravens" but I`d never heard of "a mischief of mice" or "an ambush of tigers". Anyway if you ever need a group noun Collective Nouns

A quarrel of sparrows.
Yup, seems about right. [For those not in the know, Cap'n Pedantic's real surname is Sparrow]

"A gang of hoodlums"
Quite appropriate for the UK at the moment. |

Is the phrase "A shower of bastards" used much where you live?
