The Brit Take?

Looking to hear what the take in the UK is about Michelle Obama touching the Queen. We, of course, only get the slanted USA media view. One quote in the paper this am was that the Queen should be regarded like a stripper...it is OK to look, but you can't touch! What say you blokes?

I don't think it's an issue at all. I heard in mentioned, but not in any negative way. Right now Mr and Mrs Obama can't put a foot wrong. I think she could have given her a great big bear hug and got away with it.

The video I saw showed the Queen, I think, looking a little shocked when she felt the arm on her back. The media skewed Bush when he winked at the Queen several years ago and, as usual, are making a big deal out of this.

I guess that would really surprise me. I saw a video which showed Michelle putting her arm across the Queen's back and at first she turned and looked surprised. A later clip showed the Queen with her arm on our first Lady. The only reason I even posted this is that the US media was making a big flippin' deal over it and apparently the Brit slant is 'Hey, no big deal'.
