Excellent!
How did he win his seat?
Took down a satty at the Daytona Beach card room. $150 BI I think, WTA for the seat.

That's great! I wish him well.
We had the weirdest thing happen in our recent WSOP freeroll. The top 3 finishers got a seat, airfare, and hotel. When they were four-handed, the chip leader at the time revealed that because of work commitments, he couldn't even go. The casino does not allow either a transfer or a sale of the seat. He offered to dump his chips in exchange for 15% of each player's action. Fourth place paid $1000. He could at least have gotten $500 from each of the other 3 players to lock up their seats. At least. Instead, he left a minimum $1500 of value on the table. I would have asked for $1000 from each of them and settled for $500. There's no way any of those guys would have turned down $500. I just don't understand not getting value when you're the overwhelming chip leader in that situation.
He may have valued the 15% pieces more than that. Its somewhat subjective and only he could really answer that. Personally I'd have asked for the $2000 or so bucks that each player would have received for lodging, etc. and settled for whatever.

Something!
Because 15% of nothing is still nothing. 😄
Exactly! That is why I would ask for their travel money. :)

Sorry to hear that. Great experience though

Apparently one of the guys they sent was in 11th place yesterday, so 15% could possibly be worth something after all. I think his name is Jeff Beckley?
