$11 sunday storm 1st anniversary

Anyone getting in on that action? $50 deposit for a free ticket
5000 starting chips, 10min each blinds level, $1m gtd, 150k gtd to first. Should be alot of donkeys at the beginning. Still 4 days away, there's already 35000 entrants. Got any tips rich? Anyone with any comments or advice?

Still, I'd play my normal MTT game. Nothing changes. I observe, take notes, and try to make the most +EV plays I possibly can. Pretty much the same as any other MTT/SNG I play.

The only difference for ME would be to pay more attention to potentially high implied-odds spots. Normally I would play 1500-chip turbo MTTs and there just aren't any good spots to speculate effectively. With 5000 chips and 10 minute blinds I would be able to take advantage of a few more. Other than that I can't think of anything major.

Implied odds is when you don't have a monster but might get it, and if you do you get paid off a bunch, right?

That is how it is used most often, yes. Doesn't always have to be a monster, just a likely winning hand.

In the matter that I was referring to I'm talking about hands with greater post-flop value, like a suited connector or small pair. Its not a good excuse to play T3 just because it might flop trips.

You might see a player like Gus Hansen play what seems to be any two rags at times, put he is counting on many things other than his cards to win the hand like his position, his table image, the table conditions, and his current opponents. He also relies on his superior post-flop skills to give him an edge.

Us scrubs, against a bunch of randoms in an online game, do not possess the same types of edges so we generally need to play things a bit more straightforward. Discipline should be one of our strengths.

Doubled up through a guy with JT while I had AJ
He limp, I isolated with 4bb flop J44 I pot it, he calls, turn 7, I 3/4 pot it, he shove, I call. Easy.
Lost a chunk blind v blind to a guy who looks like he's stealing, but waiting to see how loose he is.
