My Report From a WSOP Freeroll

Just want to share this, thank you if you care to read & post your thoughts-
I joined in this tourney on a whim after somebody mentioned the password in the lobby. Nothing to lose, I thought, just gain a little experience. It's not like I was hoping to get anything else out of it. 4000 players competing for 1 spot, you know the odds. I just thought it might be ok for me to finish among the top 10%.
So first thing I realized when the game began was that literally everybody on my table was away. The first pre-flop round lasted SEVEN MINUTES because the clock had to run out for everyone. I know this scenario from a couple of rookie tourneys, but not with 9 other players sleeping. So I had to just bet and everyone would fold automatically because everyone was marked as "away" now. This way, I got lots of blinds, each round lasting about 5 seconds, until one of the players woke up. It was a little spaced out to actually compete with somebody now, but after a couple of rounds I busted him with highly aggressive play. Same happened with the next player that replaced him. From those two guys and from the blinds from the sleepers I had now collected nearly 20,000 chips (3,000 at the start). The next active player coming to the table had 10,000 chips. I proceeded to play aggressively and after a little low when playing too carelessly, playing almost every hand, I managed to bust him with a straight. I now had about 40,000 chips and was ranked #30.
Now imagine coming from this situation - basically a heads-up with 8 sleepers where you play extremely aggressive - to a normal tournament table with 8 active players. Honestly, I didn't manage this switch, I bluffed excessively, got caught and lost half of my chips. Still a decent stack, but then I got reseated to a new table where the average was about 70,000 and two players had over 100k. I see one of the higher stacks going all in preflop TWICE with A-7 unsuited and winning. I try hard to play rationally, but after minor ups and downs I try to bust a smaller stack with a flush. I thought he was just going all-in because he was desperate, but on the river his trips improve to four of a kind. Next I see is people doubling up or better with 1 pair or worse. I notice I won't do this today. I'm stupid enough to bet 6000 with my 2pair against a full house. My stack is pretty much finished, I decide to call it a day with the next hand (going all in with 7-2 unsuited) and finish around #200.
